Yank Lovelace
 Yancey Lovelace | Yancey “Yank” Lovelace is President and CEO of The Securance Insurance Group, a full service insurance agency. He was named to this position in 2004. Prior to forming The Securance Insurance Group, Lovelace began his career in insurance in the family owned People’s Insurance in Brewton, AL. He later merged this agency with Escambia Insurance Agency and served as its President. Lovelace is involved in many community activities focused on improving the business atmosphere of the region and serves as Chairman of the Coastal Gateway Economic Development Authority, member of the Brewton Industrial Revenue Board and Chairman of the Economic Development Committee for the City of Brewton’s ACE program. He is a Past President of the Alabama Independent Agents Association, the Brewton Rotary Club, the Brewton Chamber of Commerce, United Way Fund, and the Country Club of Brewton. He was named Insurer of the Year by the Alabama Independent Insurance Agents Association. In 2004 the citizens of Brewton named Yank Lovelace their “Citizen of the Year.” He has served on the Vestry of St. Stephens Episcopal Church and is a Director of the Bank of Brewton. Lovelace is a Certified Insurance Counselor, having obtained the CIC designation in 1984.
